A good class last night at www.essexfightingarts.weebly.com and just a few of us but was still heaps of fun. 😊
We did some basic padwork to start with and something I will be adding back into the classes as this has lacked of late as it’s good to hit things. Then onto some slash and stab and stab and slash after my trip to Milton Keynes and training with Tony Davis et al… Really worked on technique and accuracy with each stab on vital targets. Then again inspired by Tony and jogged my memory. We went through Pac Sau Da from a barrier and this is why I included a video of Bruce Lee and Bob Wall, but Bruce’s Pac Sau Da was a tad faster than mine. Ha ha Moving from Pac Sau Da to either them blocking past the centre line and utilising biu gee finger jabs to pass leading to Lop Sau Da or if not passing the centre line, using Loy Pac Sau Da. Also drifting into Nikyo wrist locks if they leave the blocking hand on the arm. We also used Wan Jern (Palm slap) o go around the barrier and Jut Sau to drag the arms down to open up the line for another Wan Jern strike.
No Ian or Less this week so looking forward to seeing everyone back next week. Ouss…
